What do I need before I can start work?

All Care positions require at least 6 months minimum UK experience. However, we do recognise some people have worked in similar roles previously and might have some transferable skills. Please call us on 01903 860 860 to discuss this further. 

What’s the process to start working with Assist Care Agency?

After initial contact with a member of our recruitment team you will receive an online application. On completion we will contact you promptly for a face to face interview. Alternatively, you can call us on 01903 860 860 or email your CV to hello@assistcareagency.co.uk to begin the recruitment process. 

What areas do you cover?

We currently serve Worthing and the surrounding areas, and we’re pleased to share that we’re now expanding our reach. 

What roles are available through the Assist Care Agency?

We currently hold positions for the following roles – Care Assistant (Day and Night), Support Worker, Chef, Cook. Kitchen Assistant and Domestic Assistant. Additionally, Nursing positions will be available soon as we continue to expand. 

Do you have permanent roles available?

Yes, we can offer both temporary and permanent roles. 

Would I be able to hold another job while also working through your agency?

Absolutely, several of our team members take on agency work alongside their permanent employment.

Yes, in addition to ad-hoc bookings, we also offer temporary-to-permanent and permanent placement options.

What does your recruitment and vetting process involve?

We strictly follow CQC recruitment standards, which includes an enhanced DBS check, thorough reference verification, a complete CV review, completion of care standards e-learning, and face-to-face manual handling training conducted by our in-house trainer. Additionally, having a minimum of six months’ UK care experience is required. 

Can you provide shift coverage at short notice?

Absolutely, we pride ourselves on being able to provide shift coverage by ensuring staff are on standby and our phones answered by an experienced office team member. Should you require any last minute cover.
